Amos Moore, in the cab of his truck — where the stories, the thinking, and the filming all happen.

Meet Amos

Amos Moore was raised by his grandparents and two aunts after his mother died when he was two — the youngest of eleven children. He was a gifted student. Then, at seventeen, his life unraveled, and he spent 23 years incarcerated across three states for shoplifting and forgery.

He does not hide that chapter. He teaches from it. His last incarceration ended in 1997. In 1999 he earned his CDL, climbed into a truck, and has been a long-haul trucker ever since — filming honest, unscripted videos from truck stops, shippers, and receivers about how we treat one another.

Humanity1st is where those miles become a message: people before divisions, dignity for everybody, and respect for each other's space. His home base is Albany, Georgia — but most days, home is the road.

What Humanity1st stands for

Three simple convictions, carried from Amos's story into everyday life.

1

People before divisions

Before any label we put on each other — race, politics, past, paycheck — we are human. Start there, and most arguments get smaller.

2

Dignity for everybody

A person's worst chapter is not their whole book. Amos is living proof that a life can be rebuilt — and that everybody deserves to be treated as somebody.

3

Respect each other's space

Tolerance isn't complicated. Give people room to live their lives, and expect the same courtesy back. That's how strangers become neighbors.

The mark behind the message

Humanity1st is the blog of Positivity Plus — Amos's brand for everything he makes, from these stories to the PositivityPlus podcast he's building. The mark says it plainly: a mind lit up from the inside, an idea worth carrying down the road.

Follow the journey

Amos films from the road almost every day — workouts at truck stops, honest talks from the cab, and the thinking behind every story here. The blog is home base; the videos are where the conversation happens.
